Why this site exists

Every church operator knows the moment: someone says "we need to fix guest follow-up," and you realize you don't know how churches your size actually do it. Vendor sites give you feature lists. Directories give you tool names. Community threads give you anecdotes, not steps, no costs, no context.

Meanwhile, a church down the road solved the same problem two years ago. This site exists to close that gap. We publish complete, copyable implementations: the tools, the steps in order, what it costs, how hard it was, and when the writeup was last checked, drawn from hands-on church-tech work and written as field-guide pages for churches your size.

Why a pen name

The work matters more than the byline. Writing under a pen name keeps the focus on the churches and their workflows, and it keeps the editorial judgment here separate from everything else Caleb does. That separation is real, and it has rules: our editorial standards and conflict-of-interest policy are public. Judge us by those and by the pages.

What you can hold us to

How the public library stays small

Draft pages stay unpublished until they meet the same checklist as the live library: named tools, ordered steps, real cost, and a last-checked date. Regional church setups use the same ownership and cost rules. The Monday digest is optional and confirm-by-email only.
